With over two decades of architectural excellence across India and Singapore, Ar. Balamurali R., B.Arch., M.COA, brings a rare blend of creativity, precision, and global exposure to every project he undertakes. A registered architect with the Council of Architecture, India, he has led and delivered 300+ residential, commercial, institutional, and hospitality projects, shaping spaces that are thoughtful, functional, and future-ready.
His architectural journey began in 2003, progressing from early roles as a Junior and Senior Architect in Trichy and Chennai to becoming the Design Head at Neo Citadel LLP, Singapore, where he mastered large-scale design management and international standards of practice. Returning to India, he founded KSD Architects, where he continues to serve as the Principal Architect, bringing design leadership, modern thinking, and client-focused solutions to each assignment.
Known for his multidisciplinary expertise, he has collaborated with leading developers, institutions, and government bodies, including the Airports Authority of India, Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Corporation, and numerous corporate and hospitality brands. His work spans spinning mills, corporate offices, hotels, community halls, schools, townships, and premium residences—each crafted with a deep understanding of context and purpose.
Beyond practice, Ar. Balamurali is also a trainer for NATA aspirants, a mentor in architecture, and an expert in multiple architectural software tools. His passion extends into photography and freehand sketching, bringing an artistic lens to his design philosophy.
